''Finding the words to describe what Whittaker’s Wings means to us feels nearly impossible. In the midst of the most heartbreaking, terrifying, and emotional moment of our lives, their compassion became a source of light we never expected—but so desperately needed. The beautiful care packages delivered to our room were incredibly thoughtful, but it was their story that moved us most. Reading about their journey touched something deep within us. At a time when we were unsure—unsure if we could bear to see, hold, or spend time with our daughter—it gave us clarity. It gave us strength. It changed everything. Because of Whittaker’s Wings, we made the decision to spend precious time with our daughter—moments we now treasure more than words can express. Their love, courage, and generosity created space for us to begin healing. We are forever grateful. Thank you, from the depths of our hearts"

Our Story

Who We Are

Whittaker's Wings Foundation was lovingly established after founders Ryan and Crystal Zeeman, devastatingly lost their daughter Whittaker, at 40+1 weeks gestation in July 2021.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide compassionate support to families experiencing the loss of a baby between 20 weeks gestation and full-term birth. Through care packs distributed to Queensland hospitals, we gently encourage family-led after-death care practices for stillborn babies.

Our Vision

We are dedicated to advocating for enhanced stillbirth support and training within tertiary and hospital settings, while also fostering greater awareness and understanding of miscarriage, stillbirth, and bereavement care for every expecting parent.
